The Weir

by Conor McPherson, directed by John Velie

May 21, 22, 23, 2010 (Fri.-Sun.) Set in a pub in a rural Irish village, this is a ghost story – in fact three ghost stories. The play focuses on the bar’s regulars and a young Dublin woman who has just moved to the area. As the men swap ghost stories to impress her, she astonishes them with a chilling tale of her own. In London, the play won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Play of 1999.
