With folksy charm and old-fashioned humor, this easygoing political satire depicts an ill-fated 1921 camping trip taken by automaker Henry Ford, inventor Thomas Edison and President Warren Harding. Drawing upon documented quotes and biographies to paint a portrait of the celebrated trio, playwright Mark St. Germain blends fact and fiction in order to explore the human side of these famous men, whose private personas often differed from their exemplary reputations. Winner of the 1995 Off-Broadway Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding New Play.

Patricia Bunce (Director) received an MA in Theatre from Penn State University and MSEd in Counseling from the College of Saint Rose. She was director of the Theatre Arts School at NYSTI for five years. Patricia’s previous work with Theater Voices includes directing Chapatti and The Shape of Things and performing in Two Across. Other directing credits include: Tribute, California Suite (Albany Civic Theater); Chapter Two (Schenectady Civic Players); Speed the Plow (UAlbany); and Fool for Love (Eighth Step Coffee House). Additional directing credits include: The Glass Menagerie, Brighton Beach Memoirs, The Real Inspector Hound and Our Town.
